■We want to create a mechanism that does not generate dust in the clean room.■ We received a request from Company M, a manufacturer engaged in pharmaceutical research and development, stating, "Regarding the research centrifuge to be installed in the clean room, we would like to eliminate mechanisms that could potentially generate dust in order to prevent contamination." In response, we proposed the KMβ model with a "direct drive type" motor positioned directly under the main shaft, instead of the usual V-belt drive system. ■Results of the implementation■ Since there is no V-belt for driving, dust generation due to sliding has been eliminated, allowing us to keep the work area clean.
